Last Wednesday in Miami, Ilan Elbase, founder of Effective Capital, participated as a jury member at the new French Startup Tour. Organized by FrenchFounders and French Morning with the support of the French entrepreneurial and institutional ecosystem in the US, this competition encourages French startups developing in North America.
Ilan Elbase returned to his mission of jury and mentor since he had organized in early 2014 a tour to introduce French companies wishing to expand in the United States. The locations of Effective Capital and its expertise in New York, Miami and Paris confirm his excellent knowledge of business development on both continents.
Five entrepreneurs were pitching to take part in the great final of September which will decide between the best of between New York, Boston, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Montreal. 3 prizes will be awarded including the 1st, valued at $ 100,000.
The OWLMO start-up won the Miami competition. OWLMO is an all in one consultation management system that enables coaches, consultants and small businesses to schedule and sell video consultations and webinars directly from their website.
